Dog Walkers are the heart of what we do. You’ll provide daily walks, group hikes, and companionship to dogs while their owners are away, ensuring each pet gets the exercise, enrichment, and attention they deserve.

 

Responsibilities:

• Walk and hike with dogs individually or in small, compatible groups

• Provide potty breaks, playtime, and light cleanup as needed

• Reinforce basic training cues using a balanced approach

• Communicate with clients through Time To Pet (including notes and photos after each service)

• Follow each pet’s specific routine and care instructions

 

Requirements:

• Must be 18+ and pass a background check

• Must be dependable and comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Ability to work independently and outdoors in all weather conditions

• Excellent communication and time management skills

Pet Sitters provide trusted care for pets while owners are away, either staying in the client’s home (In-House Sitting) or welcoming pets into their own home (Boarding). You’ll ensure each pet receives personalized attention and maintains their normal routine in a safe, comfortable environment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Stay overnight or for extended periods with pets

• Maintain a clean, safe environment for pets

• Provide feeding, walks, playtime, medication administration, and companionship

• Follow each pet’s specific routine and care instructions

• Provide walks, potty breaks, playtime, and light cleanup as needed

• Communicate with clients through Time To Pet (including notes and photos during the service)

• Offer calm reassurance and consistency for pets while their families are away

 

Requirements:

• Must be 18+ and pass a background check

• Must be dependable and comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Responsible, trustworthy, and comfortable staying in clients’ homes or hosting in your own

• Ability to work independently and outdoors in all weather conditions

• Excellent communication and time management skills

• Prior pet care experience preferred (training provided)

Join our growing team as a part-time Administrative Assistant and help keep our operations running smoothly! You’ll handle scheduling, client communication, and service coordination, ensuring every pet and client receives exceptional care. Ideal candidates have great customer service, are organized, proactive, and comfortable managing a fast-paced environment. Weekday and weekend availability required.

Responsibilities:

• Handle client inquiries, scheduling, and service confirmations

• Manage calls via Nextiva, emails via Outlook, and client messages via Time To Pet

• Assist with onboarding new clients and updating client profiles in Time to Pet

• Support overall operations, ensuring smooth coordination between clients and team members

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Must be available on weekdays and weekends

• Previous administrative or pet care experience is a plus

We’re looking for a creative and passionate Social Media Manager to help share the heart of Jake’s Dog Walking and Pet Care online! You’ll develop engaging content, highlight our pets and team, and grow our community across platforms. Perfect for someone who loves animals, storytelling, and digital marketing!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage social media content for Jake’s Dog Walking and Pet Care on platforms including: Instagram, Tiktok, Facebook, and LinkedIn

• Create engaging photo/video content and captions

• Track engagement and performance metrics on each platform

• Highlight client stories, pet features, and team culture

• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & Premiere Pro, Notion, Canva, and CapCut is preferred

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or Public Relations preferred

• Experience in social media management and content creation

• Strong understanding of branding and community engagement

• Photography/videography experience is a plus
